Stay, darlin' stay here by my side. Cause I don't know how long I might fight. Know, darlin' know if evil should take over me, know once I was good. And the devil came down with his voice so mighty and proud, "Don't you know you'll never live forever?" I placed my trust into the hands of a fool, popular demands. So I traveled further down the road to see what hope was left in my bones. And the angel came down with her voice the most beautiful sound, "Don't you know I'll always be beside you?" It's been so long since I felt a sense of safety. Hallelujah! I will never be a bastard son.

about

Signal to the Ocean Estate was a project with myself as the songwriter and all of my close friends donating whatever talent and time they had.

On Tunes for the Bird of Chittenden, I played most of the instruments (excluding drums and percussion) while my friends made guest appearances in just about every song.

We played out as a band in the local Pittsburgh music scene for two solid years, made an awesome music video for Ghost Town, changed line-ups constantly then decided to call it a day.

Most of this album was recorded in my parents' garage and then some recording took place at my old apartment in Pittsburgh. Without Josh Gerba's incredible mixing and engineering skills, and his creative artistic input, this album would have not been possible.

So here it is! It's for free if you can't donate a few bucks. Of course there will be no hard feelings if you download it for free. The more people who have it, the better I feel!

Thank you,
Caleb Pogyor

about

Caleb Pogyor Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Terra, is a seven-track LP that is characterized by a quiet longing for the ground under our feet. What comes out of that longing is a different story. The album is a layered cake of sound—lush, ethereal vocals spread over songs that oscillate between a jazzy pensiveness and a grungy, reckless abandon. ... more
